Founder Overview

Ryan Schneiter is the Founder and Managing Partner of Highgate Holdings. He has fifteen years of experience across investment banking, institutional private investing and company building. He has invested over $1 billion of capital across more than twenty direct investments and led the company creation process for twelve companies.

Ryan founded Highgate to invest in and grow high-quality small-to-medium-sized businesses, creating long-term value for all stakeholders. He was raised in Lebanon, Pennsylvania, where he watched his parents thrive as small-business owners and learned how small businesses create jobs, serve communities and build a legacy.

Prior to launching Highgate, Ryan was a Managing Director of New Ventures at Redesign Health, a pre-seed venture capital firm that builds and launches healthcare businesses. He led the end-to-end investment process, from pre-funding concept diligence through post-funding governance, working closely with founders. He also built the initial investment strategy for Sanabil Studio by Redesign Health.

Before Redesign Health, Ryan was a Director in the U.S. Direct Investments team at Temasek, a Singapore-based investment company with over $400 billion in portfolio value. He focused on growth equity and buyout investments in U.S. healthcare services and healthcare technology companies.

Ryan began his career as an investment banker at Credit Suisse in New York, advising healthcare companies and private equity firms on M&A transactions and capital raises.

Ryan holds a B.A. in Economics from Bucknell University, where he was a member of the varsity men’s golf team. He lives in Wayne, Pennsylvania, with his wife and their two children.
